Right now, growing up is harder than ever. Kids are carrying more stress, more pressure, and more confusion than any generation before them. School worries, family struggles, social media, bullying, and mental health challenges can make everyday life feel overwhelming.
But when a child is scared, alone, or unsure where to turn…
your kindness makes sure they are never facing it alone.
When you give to Kids In Crisis, you open the door to safety, counseling, and 24/7 support for children and families throughout Southwestern Connecticut. You make sure a child can take a breath, feel cared for, and begin to heal.
And during the winter months, when needs are highest, your generosity means even more.
$1,978 – Covers two months of winter household supplies at SafeHaven: warm bedding, toiletries, and essentials that keep kids comfortable all season long.
$1,500 – Medicine and supplies for 5 children’s comprehensive medical exams and treatment in the TLC clinic.
$1,000 – Supports four weeks of Lighthouse programming for LGBTQ youth seeking safety, belonging, and community.
$500 – Provides a psychiatric evaluation by a compassionate professional to help a child begin healing.
$250 – Funds winter outings and activities so kids in our care can experience joy, movement, and a break from stress during the colder months.
$100 – Ensures essential immunizations for one child.
$50 – Provides a week of baby formula for an infant in crisis.
$30 – Supplies winter and holiday craft materials to brighten a child’s day.
