The Event

• Kids In Crisis Scavenger Hunt will be an exciting, fun, family-friendly virtual event held from July 27th to August 7th, 2020.
• Available via an app, the game will be free and will feature different types of challenges for individuals and/or teams to compete, earn points and ultimately win prizes.
• Three main themes include:
    1. Family Fun Challenges (e.g. Grab the funniest piece of clothing in your closet)
    2. Do Good Challenges (e.g. Pick up the most garbage in your neighborhood)
    3. Community Awareness and Support Challenges (e.g. Purchase take out or delivery from a local restaurant)
• All challenges must be completed within the 2 week time period.
• After each challenge, players will post a photo or video of their completed task on the app and social media.
• One lucky winner and/or team of the game will win a grand prize.

The Cause

• Established in 1978 Kids In Crisis is Connecticut’s only free, round-the-clock agency providing emergency shelter, crisis counseling and community educational programs for children of all ages and families dealing with a wide range of crises.
• Kids In Crisis has helped more than 159,000 Connecticut children and families to date.
